Zachary Yamasaki grew up in Pearl City and graduated from Mid-Pacific Institute. He received his undergraduate from UH Manoa. During his graduate school program at The World Medicine Institute he studied in Hawaii and abroad throughout China, traveling in study under the Tianshi (Heavenly Master) Lily Siou, founder of WMI. Dr Siou is credited with writing the first English book on Qi Gong, having held state licenses to practice in New York and Hawaii, Zachary has now returned home to restablish practice on Oahu.

At an early age Zachary experienced experienced several health issues that separated him from others and set him on a path into Holistic Medicine. Through attending the clinic at WMI as a patient, Zachary found relief from athrophy, pain, neuropathy, broken bones, sleep issues, mental health and more through, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Taoist training. Chinese medical tactics helped him regain his strength, mobility and wellness. For 20 years he has practiced medicine from Hawaiian la’aupa’au (Hawaiian plant medicine) to acupuncture, massage and more.
